Medical Services Provider

We are seeking candidates for full-time CMA/CNA/SRNA position for our Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP). Duties include providing, addressing and documenting each client’s medical needs/care and must work closely with the Treatment Director, Treatment Team and other staff in coordination of physicals, medical orders for medications, filling prescriptions and payment for clients. Position ensures medicine is being dispensed according to established agency policy as governed by state regulations with proper documentation and oversees the administration of medications and trains staff on proper medication administration/documentation, storage and disposal practices.

Candidates should have direct experience working with children/youth preferably providing trauma-specific services and exhibit excellent communication skills. Qualifications: Associate Degree in Science or Certificate as a Certified Medical Assistant, or Associate Degree in Nursing and valid Certification or nursing licenses. Case Manager - Therapeutic Foster Care

We are seeking candidates for a full-time Case Manager Position in our Therapeutic Foster Care Program. Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, human services, psychology, education or related field. Applicants must be over 21 years of age and must be able to pass a drug test, a background check and a CAN (Child Abuse & Neglect) check. The case manager will serve as the primary liaison between the foster family, foster youth, the Department of Community Based Services, the courts, and other parties involved in a youth's case plan. Position requires travel to and from foster home locations twice per month within a 1 to 1.5 hour radius of our Mt. Sterling home office with use of own vehicle. Ideal candidate would possess good documentation skills, and the ability to use Microsoft Office features (Word, Excel, Teams). Candidate must be willing to work a schedule that extends into the evening at times for home visits with clients.

Weekend Residential Youth Workers

We are hiring for 8, 10, 12 and 16 hours shifts for the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. 1st shift (8a-4p) – Assist with daily chores, outings, recreation, life skills; 2nd shift (4pm-12am) – Assist with daily chores, outings, recreation, life skills.

Applicants must be over 21 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, must be able to pass a drug test, background check and CAN (Child Abuse & Neglect) check. Duties include direct supervision of residents and submitting required documentation. You must be 21 years of age. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but the minimum of high school diploma or GED is required. Starting pay is $11.00 an hour.

2nd Shift Residential Youth Worker

Gateway Children's Services is hiring residential youth workers for 2nd & 3rd weekday shifts and all weekend shifts.

  • 1st shift (8a-4p) – Assist with daily chores, outings, recreation, life skills
  • 2nd shift (4pm-12am – Assist with daily chores, outings, recreation, life skills
  • 3rd shift (12am-8am) – Assist with supervision during sleep, cleaning, breakfast

Applicants must be over 21 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and must be able to pass a drug test, background check and CAN (Child Abuse & Neglect) check.
